Temple Street Slow Jams

Check out the Temple Street Slow Jams website here!

This June 20-24, join neighbors and artists to transform Temple Street from a high-speed roadway into a spectacular stretch of bold, beautiful art and public spectacle. This project is part of Vision Zero, a City of Los Angeles initiative dedicated to eliminating traffic deaths on our streets by 2025.

Through conversations, color, art, design, and choreographed movement, together we will begin to turn Temple Street into a safer, more welcoming place for people.

Art installations will occur Tuesday, June 20 through Friday, June 23. On Saturday, June 24, visit each art installation and public spectacle site on the corridor on a guided walking tour, biking tour, or on a Jeepney shuttle!

Temple Street Slow Jams is a project of Los Angeles Walks, Gabba Gallery, Pilipino Workers Center, and Public Matters. It is part of the City of Los Angeles Vision Zero Community-based Outreach & Education program. Learn more here.
