Join us this Sunday, June 30th for a fun 9-Mile Urban Walk to supplement CicLAVia's Midtown meets Pico Union!
Bob Inman, author of Finding Los Angeles by Foot and revisionist-edition of the 2018 An Architectural Guidebook to Los Angeles, will guide us through the beautiful zone of housing from the early 20th century. We will explore some wonderful front yard gardens, great street trees, and marvelous examples of local self-expression.

Explore neighborhoods north of the 10 FWY such as West Adams, Wellington Square, Arlington Heights and West Adams Terrace |

5- minute bathroom break at the Benny H. Potter West Adams Avenues Memorial Park Explore Western Heights and Harvard Heights |

Rest Stop at Blu Elefant Café |

Stroll through Westmoreland Heights and learn about the historic Ray Charles recording studios Link up with CicLAvia for a mile of Venice Blvd. |

Explore Pico Union Neighborhood including Alvarado Terrace End of Walk at Expo Line Station - 23rd and Figueroa |
More Info: The route is flat and has at least one place with bathrooms where we sit down for rest. You are welcome to walk your bike on our event after you have done CicLAvia westbound to get to us at noon. We walk fairly briskly but we will still stop and talk here and there about what we are passing.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, plenty of water, light snacks, hat, sunblock.
