Frogtown Full Moon Night Walk

Join River Wild’s Damian Robledo on a night time safari along the banks of the LA River and witness the sights, sounds, and sites of urban wildlife.

The walk will be illuminated by a full moon (lunar eclipse!) and will include visits to unique creative spaces and landmarks along the LA River Greenway pedestrian (bike) path. Learn about Elysian Valley’s rich history since the founding of Los Angeles, the fight with the City of LA for irrigation water rights, the red car trolley, the LA Noir notoriety, and current redevelopment battles. We'll end the walk at one of the new nighttime hotspots in Frogtown.

We will start and end in the same spot. Find a map of the route here: https://goo.gl/maps/wbAK3xDukzu

DIRECTIONS: We'll meet at 2500 Corralitas Drive, at the end of the block. (MAP) Parking will be available on Allesandro St., just on the other side of the freeway (via Rosebud Ave., which crosses under the freeway). Or, take the bus! The 603 stops at Allesandro/Rosebud, a two-minute walk from our starting point.
