On Sunday July 17th we'll explore Red Hill and the Forgotten Hamlet of Edendale with Walk Ambassador Dave Ptach, of the Los Angeles Stairstreet Advocates.

The walk will mostly focus on the history of Edendale, Echo Park, and Elysian Heights. Along the walk we'll learn about Red Hill, the trolley line, and artists and eccentrics who have called the area home. We will talk about the early film studios, the McCarthy era, visit the innovative Blackbirds development, the "Lost Lautner," and more!

This walk is approximately 5 miles long and includes a number of staircases and hills, so strollers/rollers are not advised.
