This National Walk to School Day, Los Angeles Walks is partnering with 2 schools in Los Angeles to conduct a superhero intervention! Parents are calling attention to unsafe and sometimes fatal driving behavior by educating the community in a fun, light-hearted way.
We are searching for volunteers! All you have to do is dress up as a superheroes or wear bright colors and we'll provide the capes. Participants will hold signs to slow down traffic, help students cross the street safely, and call out inappropriate behavior.
Sign-up to volunteer and let us know which school site you would like to volunteer for by RSVPing. Thank you in advance!
